The partnership between the University of the South Pacific and its Cook Islands branch is set to grow with the introduction of more subjects.
Sixty eight graduands received their certificates, diplomas, and degrees on the main island Rarotonga on Friday during the week long Constitution Day celebrations.
The Vice Chancellor of the USP, Anthony Tarr, says one of the initiatives for the Cook Islands is to encourage northern hemisphere students, as well as new subjects.
"We're focussing on a couple of areas where we have a very,very solid reputation in Pacific Studies as well as the area of marine study, oceanography, environmental studies and so forth. I think there area real opportunities."
