French Polynesia is playing host for the first time to a meeting of Forum "Heads of Investment Promotion Agencies."
Trade and investment officials have been sent from virtually all the member nations of the Pacific Islands Forum.
French territories are also represented through their respective investment agencies - Tahiti Invest for French Polynesia and the Economic Development Agency for New Caledonia.
The Minister said there were still few investors coming to French Polynesia from Australia or New Zealand despite the fact the administration could offer tax benefits in order to help business.
One of the aims of the regional meeting is to boost investment and exchange possibilities through networking.
