American Samoa has begun construction on the latest US fast food outlet Checkers Rally hamburger.
Next month the company plans to begin recruiting managers for training at Checkers head office in Florida.
The owners hope to employ 100 local workers.
The new owners, Alex Galeai and Calvin Tagaloa hope to open the Checkers Rally store by the end of the year.
