American Samoan Governor vetoes legislature's budget changes

The American Samoan Governor, Togiola Tulafono, has vetoed all the changes made by the legislature to the Budget bill.

The governor restored 400 thousand US dollars that the lawmakers cut from the budget for Special Programs.

He vetoed another three hundred thousand dollar reduction in the budget for the government computer system; restored fifty thousand cut from the Territory's audit contract, and also restored fifty thousand that had been cut from the Immigration Office computer system.

The budget total remains at 279 point six million dollars.
