A reward is being offered in American Samoa for finding those behind the illegal use of explosive devices in a marine sanctuary.
The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is offering a reward of up to 5,000 US dollars for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the incidents.
The explosives were detonated within the Fagatele Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
The investigation has taken more than three months and has already involved numerous interviews and state inquiries.
In June, there was a claim of an area in the sanctuary being targeted by what appears to be fishermen poaching for tropical fish.
