Indonesian authorities have summoned a Papuan activist to report to them tomorrow to explain the organisation of a demonstration without prior permission.
Police documents from Papua say Hans Gebze, of the West Papuan People's Struggle Front, has been summoned to report to the main police station in the regional capital, Jayapura.
Documents say Mr Gebze is accused of organising crowd activity without permission earlier this month.
The summons indicates Mr Gebze will be committing a criminal offence if he fails to report to police.
Activists fear Mr Gebze will be in considerable danger of imprisonment and torture by the Indonesian police.
