A magistrates court in Guam has ordered a 59-year-old man to be held on a bail of US$5 million, after he was charged with kidnapping and raping an 11-year-old girl.

KU-AM television news reports William Isezaki San Nicolas, appeared yesterday before the Superior Court Presiding Judge Alberto Lamorena.

The girl was abducted earlier this month and was found walking in the Mangilao area later the same day.

Police are continuing to investigate the abduction of a nine-year-old girl last month in Tumon.
