Fiji's Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase, says the opposition Labour Party is in disarray.

Mr Qarase has told Radio Legend there is proof of a split in Labour because two of its MPS broke ranks and praised the government's 2006 budget.

Mr Qarase says this is a clear sign of mounting dissatisfaction in the Labour Party with the continuous negative stance taken by the party leadership.

The Prime minister syas there wil be more signs of this in the next few months and no matter how much they pretend they are united they are in dissarray.

The Labour leader, Mahendra Chaudhry, is yet to comment on Mr Qarase's claims.
