4:20 pm on 8 December 2005

Polynesian Airlines has inaugurated a weekly flight to Niue from Apia, Samoa, using its Dash 8 aircraft.

This is part of the airline's move to becoming a regional airline after the takeover of its jet services by Polynesian Blue.

The flight to Niue leaves Apia every Tuesday afternoon at 2:30.

This is a turn round flight arriving back at Faleolo at 4:50 pm.

In addition to inter Samoa flights, Polynesian's Dash 8 also flies three times a week to Tonga via Pago Pago.

It flies once a week to Vava'u and on Sunday and Thursday, it flies to Nukualofa.
