Delegates from 10 Pacific nations are meeting today in the Fijian capital Suva to share ideas on improving leadership.
The Pacific Parliamentary Forum is being hosted by the Australian-based organisation, the Centre for Democratic Institutions.
The centre's chairman, the Australian parliamentary secretary for foreign affairs, Bruce Billson, will lead a workshop focusing on the Foundations of Public Leadership.
Mr Billson will also contribute about 32,000 US dollars to the local non-governmental organisation FRIEND, to encourage income generation for hundreds of unemployed women and youths through the use of local resources and traditional skills.
