A Pacific business professor says leadership roles of the future could well be better suited to women rather than men.

Papali'i Dr Tusi Avegalio is the director of the Pacific Business Center at Hawaii University.

He says the ability to multi-task is a major advantage women have over men.

Papali'i says women are better equipped to succeed in the modern world.

"Our global environment is becoming more and more dynamic. Uncertainty is increasing and things change much, much more quickly and so the kinds of organisations and the kinds of leaders we will need are the ones who are more synchronic, who can do these multiple things."
