Brunei has established diplomatic relations with Samoa.
This was formalized at the signing of a Joint Communique between representatives of the two nations this week.
The signing took place at the office of the High Commission of Brunei in Canberra, Australia.
Brunei was represented by Pg Datin Paduka Hjh Masrainah bte Pg Hj Ahmad, the High Commissioner of Brunei to Australia, while Samoa was represented by Mr Leiataua Dr Kilifoti Eteuati, Samoa's High Commissioner to Australia.
