The story of the only female soldier from American Samoa to die in the war in Iraq, Sergeant Tine Time, is to feature next month in a popular women's magazine.

She will be among more than 40 fallen servicewomen featured in the special report in Marie Claire, entitled "Faces From the Front Lines."

It will appear in the magazine's March edition, to mark three years since the US-led invasion of Iraq.

The 22 year old was killed on the 13th of December in a vehicle accident in Iraq.

Her mother Mary Time will also appear in a news feature by the US network NBC on the high number of Samoans who join the military, even during a time of war.
