Jailed members of Fiji's Conservative Alliance Matanitu Vanua are reported to want legal action against the dissolution of their party last Friday.
Radio Legend reports that Metuisela Mua, Eroni Lewaqai and Viliame Sausauwai are all founding members of the Conservative Alliance currently in jail for coup related offences.
Their wish for legal action has been disclosed by the former secretary of the Conservative Alliance, Ropate Sivo, who says he has been visiting them in prison.
Mr Sivo says members are disgruntled at the way the vote for the dissolution was conducted last Friday before the party was absorbed into the ruling SDL.
Mr Sivo says the voting was done in such a way that they could not tell whether those taking part were financial members and therefore entitled to vote.
Meanwhile, some disgruntled members of the Conservative Alliance who do not agree with their merger with the SDL are reported to be planning to form another party.
