Vanuatu mobile force seizes government cars amid alleged abuse

Vanuatu mobile force soldiers have seized more than 20 government vehicles, which were seen being used outside working hours.

The only persons allowed to drive official vehicles after work and during the weekend are among others government ministers, police officers, customs and immigration officials and the chief justice.

Many of the impounded vehicles were seen parked outside kava bars late at night.
