The first candidate for American Samoa's election in November has come forward.
Unasa Leroy Ledoux of Pago Pago has declared his candidacy for the House of Representatives.
American Samoan voters will go to the polls in November to elect 20 House members and a delegate to the US Congress.
Mr Ledoux says he will use his experience in government and the private sector to get things done for his village of Pago Pago.
