Two Guam Waterworks Authority employees have tested positive for the drug methamphetamine.

It is the first positive test results since the government of Guam began random drug-testing procedures six months ago.

The Authority's general manager, David Craddick, says the employees work in the operations section and have been suspended from duty to undergo a drug-rehabilitation programme.

The Guam Daily newspaper reports that 247 government workers in Guam have been tested so far as part of the government's anti-drug policy.
