8:20 am on 25 May 2006

American Samoa's Governor Togiola Tulafono has given Hawaiian Airlines CEO Mark Dunkerley 45 days to meet certain demands or he will take legal action.

The Governor has asked that the airline reduce all round trip fares on the Pago Pago Honolulu route to 500 US dollars or less.

He has also asked for Hawaii to eliminate discriminatory fees, charges and penalties that are not in line with other international airlines.

The governor is also calling for airline staff to do courses in staff etiquette.
