Fijians invited to make submissions on Employment Relations Billl

The public in Fiji has been invited to make submission on the proposed Employment Relations Bill.

The Fiji Times reports that efforts to improve, relationships between workers and their employees is expected to be improved with the proposed document.

The Bill has been referred to the Sector Standing Committee on Social Services for further consultations.

Going in line with the Ministry of Labour's commitment towards the sector, the Bill is widely expected to rebuild confidence, stability and growth in the labour market, under the National Strategic Plan 2004-2006.

The bill is also aimed at facilitating economic and social development towards achieving the Government's goal of a peaceful, prosperous Fiji.
