Air Fiji has promised customers that logistical problems it experienced in the past are over.

The Fiji Times reports that the airline claimed that passengers could now expect a high level of service, as operations returned to normal.

Airline chief executive, Sialeni Vuetaki says services would be boosted by the arrival of a 50-seater aircraft this weekend.

Mr Vuetaki says the new aircraft, which is being leased from Air Chatham, would replace the Embraer Brasilia in the airline's fleet.

Mr Vuetaki says the airline had suffered from logistical problems due to staff being away in training.

However, Mr Vuetaki says following their return to the workforce, services provided by Air Fiji would definitely improve.
