Post Fiji Limited has shed 61 of its 460 staff and wants to let go of another 100.
Fiji TV reports that the 61 staff have accepted voluntary packages.
State-owned Post Fiji's managing director, Peni Mau, insists there will be no forced redundancies.
But Mr Mau says staff costs have been rising faster than profits leaving thinner margins at the bottom line.
