Two men from Kiribati have been rescued at sea after drifting for one month.
Nobere Nakiaro and Koru Teema were found in the open ocean by a helicopter that was searching for fish for a Taiwanese purse seine fishing vessel.
At the end of June, the two men had left Tarawa for Abemama Atoll about 160 kilometres away but a storm blew them off course.
They were brought into the Marshall Islands capital, Majuro, to be returned to Kiribati.
Another three Kiribati men survived more than 10 weeks at sea and were rescued off the Federated States of Micronesia.
