Discussions are under way in Fiji to decide whether the former Ba Holdings CEO, Isimeli Bose, will remain as chairman of the Fiji Ports Corporation Limited.

Mr Bose who was ousted as CEO was released on bail after he rounded up more than 50 men from his village and stormed into the Ba Provincial Holdings building.

He was released under strict conditions.

Today's meeting to discuss a way forward involves shareholders, board members and the new CEO of Ba Holdings, Ratu Tevita Momoedonu.

Meanwhile, 17 men have been charged with unlawful assembly and other charges relating to Friday's takeover of the Ba Holdings office in Lautoka.

The men along with Mr Bose will appear in court on the 10th of this month to answer charges of assault.
