Body of eighth American Samoa soldier killed in Iraq arrives in Pago Pago tomorrow

The body of the 8th American Samoa soldier to die in action in Iraq is scheduled to arrive in the territory tomorrow night.

The funeral cortege of Staff Sgt Jeffrey Loa, will proceed directly from

the airport to the US Army Reserve center for a prayer service

After the service, Loa's body will be taken to the LBJ morgue and will remain there until his funeral service scheduled for Saturday morning.

Congressman Faleomavaega Eni Hunkin is travelling from Washington D.C. to escort the body home and top military officials will also be attending.

Staff Sgt, Loa was killed by an improvised explosive device in the Iraqi town of Ramadi on August 16th
