Air New Zealand says it will introduce a weekly non-stop service between Rarotonga and Los Angeles as part of schedule changes taking effect in April.
This will be extended to a twice weekly service during the peak travel months of April and July 07.
Air New Zealand will at the same time suspend Rarotonga-Papeete-Los Angeles services currently operated three times per week.
The carrier plans a code share with Air Tahiti Nui on four of its daily Papeete-Los Angeles services.
Regular services between Auckland and Rarotonga will continue as scheduled with no significant change to capacity.
