Election officials in American Samoa prepare for tomorrow's election

Election Office officials in American Samoa are working overtime to prepare for tomorrow's general election.

A majority of the more than 15,000 registered voters will go to the polls to cast ballots for the Congressional and local House races while a small number of voters have already voted local absentee, starting several weeks ago.

The 44 designated polling stations territory wide open for 12 hours starting at 6 tomorrow morning.

Ballot boxes for the Manu'a Islands leave this morning, accompanied by election officials.

Ballot boxes on the main island of Tutuila will be delivered to designated polling stations starting around 4 o'clock tomorrow morning and will be accompanied by election officials and escorted by police.
