Bomb threat stops Fiji university exams

3:23 pm on 10 November 2006

More than 1,000 University of the South Pacific students at the Laucala Campus in Suva were not able to sit their examinations this morning because of a bomb threat at the exam venue.

A Solomon Islands student at USP told the SIBC that students were already in the examination room when they were told to leave everything and move out of the building.

He says they were disappointed.

The examinations are now to be held on November 21st.
