The Pacific Islanders Rugby Union Alliance team or PIRA have arrived in a cold and windy Dublin hoping to notch up their first win on their short European tour.
However, after their loss Wales and Scotland PIRA may have an uphill battle against Ireland who convincingly beat Australia.
But it could be tougher with three, possibly four key players unavailable for Sunday's match.
France based wing Rupeni Caucau returns to his Agen side, flank Semo Sititi returns to Japan both citing personal reasons, while Fiji lock Isoa Domolailai returns to his Toulon club because of a recurring back problem.
And a fourth player could be out with Viliami Vaki facing a Six Nations disciplinary panel for his tackle on Scotland halfback Chris Cuister, which caused serious injury to his shoulder that could take three to four months to heal.
PIRA have conceded 62 first half points against Wales and Scotland, but Hurricanes winger Lome Fa'atau says if they played better in the first half, the result could have been different.
"Had we been given a bit of time, that's always been the issue you know things could have happened a little different, but in saying that we've had the two weeks together in playing in Scotland, you know the five day excuses, is pretty much expired and that's been the excuse for the last couple of games."
