Competition in the wireless internet services in Fiji have been welcomed by two service providers in the industry.
Unwired and Connect welcomed the move by Fiji International Telecom-munications Limited (FINTEL) to provide wireless internet services.
Unwired Fiji's chief executive officer John Pollock said there was room for competition in Fiji and the company welcomed the challenge.
Mr Pollock told the Fiji Times, the company was the first to break the monopoly enjoyed by Telecom Fiji Limited.
