Manager of sports-lotto in Samoa cleared of theft charges

An Australian man who was managing the sports-lotto game in Samoa has been cleared of fourteen charges of theft after the district court heard that police do not have enough evidence to support the charges.

Steve Gibson, was sacked by the government's totalisator board following a police investigation in April 2005, when more than 50 thousand US Dollars was found missing from the sports-lotto.
