Search continues in American Samoa for man missing at sea

Search teams in American Samoa continued to look for the body of one of three people who drowned in Aoa village at the weekend.

Police say two visiting Filipino nationals, a brother and sister, encountered problems while surfing on Saturday afternoon.

Two men from the village, one an Assembly of God minister went to help them and managed to rescue the girl who was resuscitated.

However, the boy was swept out to sea and he and the two rescuers drowned.

The bodies of the Filipino national and one of the rescuers were recovered 24 hours later, but the church minister's body is yet to be found.
