Fiji's former chief executive officer of the finance ministry, who was sacked by the military regime, has secured a position in Nauru's government.

Fijilive reports Paula Uluinaceva now has a three-year contract as financial adviser to the Nauru government.

Mr Uluinaceva was the youngest of the 23 CEOs appointed by the ousted Qarase government to head the government ministries.

All the CEOs had their contract terminated by the military following the December coup.

Four of the CEOs were later rehired as advisers in their respective ministries.
