A report by Samoa's Ombudsman over sexual harassment allegations by a woman employee of the tourism authority against the chief executive officer, Matafeo Reupena Matafeo, has been leaked to the media.
The report, which was published in full in the Sunday Samoa Newspaper, finds there were unwanted sexual advances and abuse of power by the suspended CEO against the complainant, Lu'isa Fuimaono.
The report has been made public as the tourism board awaits a translated version in Samoan of the report before making a decision about the chief executive's future.
