The suspended chief executive officer of the Samoa tourism authority, Matafeo Reupena Matafeo, is considering legal action against the findings of the government Ombudsman over a sexual harassment complaint against him.

The report which was leaked to the media has revealed unwanted sexual advances and abuse of power by the suspended CEO against his former secretary and complainant, Lu'isa Fuimaono.

Matafeo was quoted on SBC-TV last night as saying that he would not comment publicly on the findings of the Ombudsman because he's considering taking the matter to court.

Meanwhile the CEO early this week has submitted a written response over the report to the deputy prime minister and minister of tourism and the board of directors. Ends
