The New Zealand World Cup cricket batting lineup has been thinned after opener Lou Vincent became the latest to fall to injury.

Vincent, who scored a century in the last match, is now out of the tournament after breaking his wrist after being hit by Shane Bond in a net session in Antigua.

He'll be replaced by Northern District's Hamish Marshall..

Meanwhile the Auckland pacebowler Chris Martin is on his way to the Caribbean as a replacement for the injured Darryl Tuffey.
