A former President of the Federated States of Micronesia, Tosiwo Nakayama, has died in Hawaii aged 75.
Mr Nakayama, who was from Chuuk, became the nation's first President after the FSM gained its independence in 1979.
He had spent a life-time of public service in various prominent positions and roles during the United Nations Administration of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands.
Details of the funeral are yet to be announced
