The Fiji football side has suffered a 3 - 1 defeat against Brigham Young University in Utah, Salt Lake City.
Fiji scored first but the University team hit back and scored three unanswered goals.
Fijian coach, Juan Carlos Buzzetti, said the high altitude in Utah was something the players couldn't adapt to and contributed heavily to them tiring and losing focus in the second spell.
Fiji will face the Real Salt Lake side on Thursday.
