Tongan rugby side the Tau'uta Reds have opened up a two point lead at the top of the IRB Pacific Cup.
They snuck past Upolu Samoa 31-30 in Apia in the latest round.
The hopes of Savai'i Samoa holding onto its has been virtually extinguished
It suffered its third straight loss, 24-23 to the Fiji Barbarians on Saturday.
Savai'i started brightly and raced to a 13 nil lead after 12 minutes and led 16-11 at half time.
With 10 minutes to go Savai'i was up 23-14 bu the Barbarians replied with a converted try and penalty to snare the win
The Barbarians are in second place with Upolu third.
