Fiji prepare for big test against New Zealand

9:15 am on 17 April 2007

Fiji's champion football club - Ba is set to face New Zealand's Waitakere United at home in the first leg of the O League final at Govind Park.

The winner of the home and away final is set to earn a sweet 500-thousand US dollars after a play off with Japan's J - League winner.

The Ba side has been in camp from last week and they know that Waitakere United will not be an easy opponent as they have a few Solomon Islands players who are very skilful.

Ba President - Rishi Kumar said this was a historical moment not only for Ba but Fiji as a whole.

The match kicks off at 2pm this Saturday with the return encounter on Sunday week in Auckland.
