The manager for the world number seven golfer Fijian Vijay Singh has pulled the plug on the design contract for a planned golf course at Natadola Resort in Fiji.
Legal representatives for I-M-G Worldwide Inc., says the move means that Natadola Bay Resort Limited, will no longer have the right to use Singh's name to promote the golf course.
Renee Lal of Jamnadas and Associates said in a statement that Singh expressed concern over the circumanstances which led to the cancellation.
However, I-M-G Worldwide Inc., lawyers say while the design agreement has been terminated, it's still possible to negotiate a new agreement.
