A major upset in the International Rugby Board Pacific Cup competition has thrown the race for the final wide open.

Tau'uta Reds who were unbeaten in the competition lost 25-12 to last year's winners and homeside Savai'i Samoa.

The last round of matches this week will be an interesting tussle with four teams still in the running to make the final.

However, Tau'uta Reds still lead the table, with 13 points, Fiji Barbarians and Upolu Samoa share second place with 11 points each while the Fiji Warriors still have hopes of qualifying for the final as they sit in fourth spot with 10 points.
