A Solomon Islands government minister, Joses Sanga, has died in Honiara.
Mr Sanga was an MP from the island of Malaita and the minister for public service.
He was reported to have collapsed last night and was taken to the National Referral Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of his death is not known.
