Australian National Rugby League administrators holds teleconference today

10:30 am on 1 May 2007

Australian National Rugby League administrators will hold a teleconference today with all 16 club coaches to discuss the obstruction rule which could lead to an immediate change of the game's laws.

The NRL have come under pressure in the opening seven rounds of competition due to the inconsistency in awarding tries when decoy runners are involved in the play.

The New Zealand Warriors coach Ivan Cleary says the video ref is having too much bearing on the game and has called for an NFL-style video referee challenge system.

The Warriors had 2 tries disallowed by the video referee in yesterday's 18-16 win at South Sydney.
