Fiji Rugby's high performance manager has claimed Fiji Barbarians and Warriors Pacific Cup players have been neglected in regard to their fitness.

Fiji Live.com reports 13 players who attended the first fitness test in Suva, ahead of the World Cup trials on Saturday, failed their strength test.

High performance manager, Peter Murphy, says the coaches haven't followed the player strength and conditioning training programmes and it was reflected in their standings in the recently completed IRB Pacific Rugby Cup.

But Murphy says they have enough time to condition their players and up their strength before next week's start of the inaugural six country Pacific Nations Cup.
