The cannery Star Kist Samoa in American Samoa is operating on a reduced schedule this week due to a lack of fish.
The general Manager Brett Butler says production employees have taken leave until tomorrow.
He says that fishing boats are due in today with new fish supplies and production can resume.
He says Star Kist will be fully operational next week.
