Asiana Airlines has announced plans to increase Korean tourist arrivals to the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas.
President Joo-An Kang told the Saipan Tribune newspaper, that Asiana looks to promote the CNMI as an incentive and promotion destination.
He says he sees a potential for special interest tours, which can be marketed to school, fishing, and other specific groups.
Asiana added two new daytime flights and converted two night flights from the previous schedule into daytime flights.
The new service brought to 11 the number of Asiana's weekly flights to Saipan.
