The Samoan and Australian governments have signed an agreement that will see one of the campuses of the Australia-Pacific Technical College to be located in the capital, Apia.

The Apia branch will deliver instruction in a range of technical and vocational fields including hospitality and tourism, manufacturing and in the future health and community services.

Courses will be delivered by Australian-registered training organisations in partnership with the Institute of Technology.

APTC campuses are also planned for Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu.
