There are more employee probems at Samoan TV station, LAU-TV.
The Samoa Observer quotes unnamed staff members as saying they were informed by the owner and Managing Director , Tuiasau Leota Uelese Petaia, that there will be redundancies.
The list of those who will be axed was to be announced the following day however as of yesterday, staff had heard nothing from the management

They complained of late payment of wages, and lack of contributions by their employer for their ACC and SNPF.
Staff levels are said to have fallen from a peak of about 40 since LAUTV started to less than half that.
