Both Australia A and Fiji will look for redemption when they meet in this weekend's final round of rugby's Pacific Nations cup in Suva.

New Zealand's Junior All Blacks thrashed Australia A 50-0 at Dunedin last Saturday to clinch the title with a week to spare while Fiji fell to Tonga 21-15 in Lautoka.

Fiji led 15-6 at half-time but Tonga scored 15 unanswered points in the second half to register their first win of the campaign and move off the bottom of the standings.

It was also Tonga's first win on Fijian soil since 1993.

Samoa moved into third place in the standings after beating Japan 13-3 in Sendai and will finish by hosting Tonga in Apia

The Japanese, who've slipped to last place, have the unenviable task of hosting the Junior All Blacks in Tokyo
