The Solomons Foreign Affairs minister, Patteson Oti, is optimistic the second review of RAMSI will help Solomon Islands and Australia see eye to eye on issues they disagree on.

Speaking in Honiara to SIBC, Mr Oti said the second consultative review has been successful and the government is hopeful that the emanating report will show a united stand by RAMSI and all stake holders.

A member of the review taskforce, Neil Waters, said the taskforce is now working on the second phase report and is expected to have the proceedings completed by next week.

He said the report would be given to the government and RAMSI for confidential viewing before being submitted to Pacific islands Forum Leaders at their annual meeting in Tonga in October.
